Sustainable Action Plan for Knox Community
We aim to be a sustainable community. How do we ‘cherish the earth we share and sustain the life and health of creation’? Read the discussion on the proposed Sustainable Action Plan for the Knox Community, and these useful suggestions to help you care for God’s creation.
Myanmar Rice Bowl Fund
At Knox, we will look outward, listen for heard and unheard voices, speak out against injustice and oppression and strive actively to create greater justice and peace. One of our outward looking projects is our partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Myanmar.
Our brothers and sisters in Myanmar have so much to teach us about courage, faith, generosity and hospitality. In return, we have much to share with them. We are seeing lives and communities transformed and you can be part of it. Two young adults from within our congregation have been in Myanmar on a mission trip to see how we can support the people of Myanmar.
You can read more about, and give financially to, the Rice Bowl Fund, which helps with important projects. Your prayers and support for the people of Myanmar will be greatly appreciated.
